I turned the car on, yesterday, in New York NY, at 7:40 a.m. and turned it off, in Batesville AR, at 11:58 p.m.: over 1200 miles in a little more that 17 hours.

Before mailing them, and after double checking the postage with the manager of NYC’s main post office, the announcements were returned, today.   I had to pick them up at the 125 Street station and drive them to the main post office, again, where the manager explained that a disgruntled postal employee had made the decision.  The manager assured me that, even if she had to hand cancel each of the over 2000 large cards, the mail would go through.
